THE THREAT

Drones have rewritten ground combat.


Electronic jamming is no longer enough. Fibre-optic tethered drones are immune to it, making a kinetic (hard-kill) answer a necessity rather than an option. Cheap close-range options like shotguns exist, but they mean a second weapon, added load, and a separate supply chain, and they aren't issued to the individual infantryman, who still carries a rifle that almost never connects with a fast, erratic target.

This is a capability gap measured in lives, and every modern military shares it.

The Kinetic Airburst Projectile (KAP)


Patent-pending rifle ammunition that gives every soldier a hard-kill counter-drone capability using the weapon they already carry. Compatible with in-service 5.56mm and 7.62mm platforms, the KAP creates a wide area of effect in flight to dramatically increase the chance of a hit against a small, fast-moving target, while shedding energy rapidly beyond combat range to limit risk to friendly forces and civilians. The only thing a soldier does differently is load a KAP magazine: no new weapon, no new training, no added load.

We design and manufacture the high-value, inert projectile in Australia and partner for final loading in each market, putting Australian IP at the centre of a global supply chain. Because the projectile ships as an inert component, it moves internationally without the ITAR and live-ammunition restrictions that bottleneck competitors. The result is a capital-light, born-global model built on sovereign IP, establishing the first advanced projectile design and manufacturing capability of its kind in Australia and addressing a recognised supply-chain vulnerability that unlocks government and prime-contractor support.
